Who would provide the care?
We introduce your carers and explain how they are recruited and checked, the training that relates to your needs and how they are supervised.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. It registers providers and monitors, inspects and regulates services.
About the CQC and its workWelcare is newly registered and the CQC has not inspected the service yet, so there is no rating to show.
Here is what we explain when we first talk about your care.
We introduce your carers and explain how they are recruited and checked, the training that relates to your needs and how they are supervised.
Your care plan sets out the agreed support and your preferences. We review it with you and update it when your needs change.
We tell you who to contact with a safety concern, how it is handled and what happens outside office hours.
You receive our complaints procedure and the responsible manager’s details, and we keep you informed after you raise an issue.
Face-to-face time with the management team is part of Welcare’s programme, so you can always talk to the people who coordinate your care.
